Noticed on Dukalis’ Growth at PARIVISION

Published October 1, 2026

Evgeniy Noticed Ignatenko says Andrey Dukalis Kuropatkin has become a stronger Dota 2 player since their Virtus.pro days, chiefly because of the support player’s increased confidence, authority and ability to direct team decisions. Speaking on Maurice KheZu Gutmann’s podcast, Noticed compared playing alongside Dukalis several years ago with their current time together at PARIVISION.

The comparison matters because Noticed did not frame Dukalis’ progress as a simple jump in individual ability. He said Dukalis was already playing well on an individual level during their Virtus.pro spell. Instead, Noticed’s assessment places the change in how Dukalis operates within a team: he now presents decisions with more certainty and can make communication useful for the players around him. That distinction is central to Noticed’s view of why the same teammate feels stronger now. It is an account from a player who has shared two separate team periods with Dukalis, rather than a claim based on a single recent match or a published statistic. Noticed’s remarks also do not identify a particular upcoming tournament, match or roster move connected to this assessment.

A stronger voice in the team

Noticed described a former tendency for Dukalis to overthink situations and doubt himself, including whether he was playing certain heroes poorly. In his telling, that uncertainty limited the way Dukalis could take responsibility for calling plays during the Virtus.pro period. The present comparison is different: Noticed sees a player who understands what he wants the team to do and can communicate that plan in a form teammates immediately recognize.

That is why Noticed’s comments are more specific than a broad compliment about improvement. His point is not that every part of Dukalis’ game has changed beyond recognition. He explicitly said he does not think Dukalis became dramatically better as an individual player, because he considered his Virtus.pro-level individual play good as well. The development, as Noticed explains it, is the combination of assurance, standing within the group and an ability to call actions clearly. In practical terms, the value lies in making a decision understandable and workable for teammates. Noticed said the calls now make sense to him and work, rather than seeming mysterious. The assessment remains his personal view of a teammate, but it offers a clear explanation for the difference he feels between the two periods.

How Noticed described the change

The key elements below are the communication traits Noticed singled out. They are presented as his explanation of Dukalis’ growth, not as independently measured performance categories or a prediction of future results.

• Noticed pointed to greater confidence and authority, contrasting them with the self-doubt he associated with the earlier Virtus.pro period.
• He said Dukalis now calls smoke moves and other actions, sometimes using shorthand such as “Africa” and “McDonald’s” that teammates understand.
• Noticed’s central distinction was that Dukalis’ individual play was already good at Virtus.pro, while his current decision-making presence is what makes him stronger in Noticed’s view.

Shared team period	Confirmed context
Virtus.pro, December 2022 to March 2023	The team played in the first division of Dota Pro Circuit 2023: Season 1 for Eastern Europe.
PARIVISION, from May 2026	Noticed and Dukalis reunited on the team in May 2026.

The earlier Virtus.pro side did not qualify for the Major from its Dota Pro Circuit 2023: Season 1 campaign in Eastern Europe. Since Noticed and Dukalis joined forces at PARIVISION in May 2026, the team has won ESSENCE I, DreamLeague Season 29 and Esports World Cup 2026 in Dota 2, while also reaching the final of The International 2026. Those results are the confirmed competitive backdrop to Noticed’s explanation, although he did not directly assign them to Dukalis’ calling or describe any next step for the team.
