FISSURE is returning to Dota 2 with PARI Universe, a $250 thousand online tournament scheduled for October 22 through November 1, 2026. Ten teams will take part: nine will enter through direct invitations, while the last place will go to the winner of a closed qualifier held from October 5 to 8. Six invited teams have already been named across the organisers’ announcements and event reports, giving the competition a high-level core before the remaining invitations are revealed.
PARIVISION, Team Spirit, BetBoom Team, Team Liquid, OG and 1w are the confirmed participants. Three more direct invites remain unannounced, and the qualifier will supply the tenth team. That division matters because it prevents the early list from being mistaken for the full field. The event is not an open ten-team tournament, nor are all places already occupied.
Every match will be played online. FISSURE plans an official Russian-language broadcast on Twitch, but the reports do not yet establish a complete daily schedule, match format or bracket. Those details should be treated as pending rather than filled in from older editions of the series. What is confirmed is the two-stage calendar: a four-day closed qualifier in early October and the main event later in the month.

A compact route into a ten-team field
The qualifier offers one team a direct route into a field otherwise built by invitation. Its October 5 start leaves less than three weeks before the main tournament, so the winner will move quickly from qualification into preparation for established opposition. The invited teams, meanwhile, know the broad dates but still have to wait for the remaining names and the final competitive structure.
A $250 thousand prize pool makes PARI Universe meaningful without changing what the announcement proves. No distribution by placement has been published in the reviewed material, and no team has been assigned a seed. The early value of the announcement is practical: teams and viewers now have fixed dates, a field size, a qualification route and six confirmed organisations.
PARI Universe will also be FISSURE’s first Dota 2 tournament since February. The previous event in the series ended with Aurora Gaming defeating Team Spirit 3–2 in the final. That result provides continuity for the brand, but the October competition is a new tournament with a partly different field. It should not be described as a continuation of the same bracket or as an automatic rematch.
The timing places the event after BLAST Slam VIII and inside a busy post-International period. That may affect preparation, but the announcement does not confirm how individual teams will prioritise the calendar. The responsible reading is narrower: several leading organisations have accepted another online event, and one qualifier winner will receive the opportunity to join them.
What remains unknown after the announcement
Three direct invitations, the full qualifier lineup and the detailed match format remain open. Those are not minor gaps, because they will determine competitive depth and the route to the final. Until FISSURE publishes them, predictions about groups or likely opponents would be speculation.
The confirmed framework is already substantial enough for a clear first report. PARI Universe has dates, money, a ten-team limit and six notable participants. Its next important update will not be another broad promise; it will be the completion of the field and the rules that decide how those teams move through the event.
- The main online tournament will run from October 22 to November 1.
- The closed qualifier is scheduled for October 5–8.
- Nine teams will receive direct invitations and one will qualify.
- The announced prize pool is $250 thousand.

| Stage | Dates | Confirmed purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Closed qualifier | October 5–8 | Awards the tenth tournament place |
| Main event | October 22–November 1 | Ten teams compete online |
| Future update | Not announced | Completes invites and match format |
PARI Universe gives the post-TI calendar another substantial event and restores FISSURE’s Dota series after an eight-month gap. The six confirmed teams make the opening announcement credible; the qualifier and three remaining invitations will decide whether the completed field matches that promise.
